About Dicle University:
The University of Dicle was established in 1966 with the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ankara and the Faculty of Science was opened in 1973 and was renamed to Diyarbakir University, and in 1982 the name of Diyarbakir University was changed to the University of Tigris. The University of Tigris has the mission to produce, use, and provide knowledge to serve humanity in a local, regional, and global context. Not only has it been a university serving the region over the past years, but it has also strengthened its strength with its international success. The university also consists of 15 colleges with modern structures where students and academics need all facilities from A to Z, 12 vocational schools equipped with technical equipment, 4 schools, 1 winter institute, 4 institutes, 30 training and research centers, and a training hospital Research, Oncology Hospital.
